PSO manages an extensive network of fuel depots and terminals. GREATORK actuators are responsible for the automated control of loading/unloading and tank farm isolation, which is vital for the country's energy logistics.
Fuel terminals are classified as high-risk zones. Our actuators feature Ex db II CT4 Gb explosion-proof certification, providing the necessary safety for operating near large-scale petroleum storage tanks.
This 103-unit deployment was part of a major initiative to upgrade manual valves to automated smart systems, improving operational efficiency and reducing human error in fuel handling.
Technical Solutions Deployed
All parameters are set via an infrared setter without opening the electrical cover. This eliminates the risk of sparks and maintains the flame-proof integrity of the unit in the fuel-rich environment.
Ensures precise valve position tracking without the need for battery maintenance, which is ideal for remote or high-traffic terminal areas where battery failures could cause operational disruptions.
Built-in protections for motor overheating, phase loss, and valve jamming, combined with a clear OLED display, allow terminal operators to quickly identify and resolve issues, ensuring continuous flow.
